The National Mall- Thursday
For the second week in a row, a Thursday with nothing to do had led Sabine and Lana out of town, though today they'd extended the invitation to a few other people.
You know. To go check out museums, like the nerds they were. And to hide in the air conditioning, because it was gross outside.
So it was off to DC for the dayhandwavily around class times, with shirts available to wear that read "FANDOM COSTUME SOCIETY" to help the non-humans blend in. Would it work? Who knows!
[NFB for distance, and for those who know who they are, though if you happen to be in DC, feel free to stop in!]

Re: National Gallery of Art
She had a plan herself, but she trusted Astrid's recs.

But when she gave it some serious thought, she decided, "I'd really be interested to see what you have to say about Jackson Pollack and Andy Warhol. I think most of the modern, more contemporary stuff if more your style, so try to take in more of that, with a good dose of the Impressionists, too, they're some of my favorites."

She would.
Re: National Gallery of Art
She trailed off slightly, realizing she was going off on a tangent, shook her head. "I could talk your ear off about it, really. I've always liked pop art, though, even if my mom always trashed it. She thinks its gauche and tacky."

Astrid among them (but never to her face).
"Thanks for inviting me, by the way. I...really needed something like this this week. And...thanks for last weekend, too. You've been really great, Sabine, and I appreciate it, I really do."
She hadn't meant to say all that, but once she started, it seemed to just keep bubbling out.
Re: National Gallery of Art
Well, there were those two people, but she wasn't there yet.
