A paintball course on the mainland- Sunday afternoon
On one hand, this really wasn't Sabine or Lana's holiday. But it was a good excuse for a date, even if their version of celebrating something like Valentine's Day meant finding a paintball course on the mainland.
As it turned out, they weren't even the only people with this idea. The course was filled with couples who were probably more concerned with being cute together than actually playing.
Which was why as they were getting their gear, Sabine said, "So we're going to destroy everyone here, right?"
[For the girlfriend!]

Suckers.

She paused. "Are there rules against capturing other people's guns and using those?"

And leaned out just enough to read the rules.
"It's not explicitly stated that we can't..."

Also it matched Lana's eyes and why not.

Which was the most important thing.

Outside there was a bit of forest to one side, and she headed for that, keeping her eyes open for anyone else with a similar idea. Just because nobody here had the training of a Sith or a Mandalorian didn't necessarily mean they weren't intelligent.

Sabine darted towards a partition near the perimeter, which didn't get a lot of attention since it was out of the way, but it gave her a good view of the area and no one would really take note of her.
It was only about a minute before the first pop of a paintball and some guy's undignified, "Ow!"

"Hey! What -"
"Ours now," Lana announced cheerfully.

"Hopefully," she said to Sabine. "Or we could just try for...what is it they call it here, a speed run?"

Still on the same team, but with stakes!

It might be a very slight handicap, but hey, blasters weren't Lana's primary weapon.

"How long do you want to give us?"

And then she was darting off to start taking no prisoners.

She headed off to where she could feel another pair of opponents. A broken branch in the opposite direction got their attention long enough for her to hit them both, and then she was heading off again.

She'd trade off one each time, though. It was pretty hard to carry more than this, even if it would make for more interesting color combinations later.

It was definitely them. Not the pair she sniped from the top of a hill; they were barely even trying.

Five minutes felt like not enough time now.

Fortunately, taking out the first distracted the other one. The first shot just winged him, but Lana ducked behind her cover, grimaced, and shot again, getting him square on.
Blades were so much more accurate!

And by then Sabine had swiped one of the guns, just in case there were any other easy targets on the way back.

She'd totally pick off anyone unlucky enough to come her way while she waited, but she wasn't counting them towards her total.
