Sabine had never really figured that she was the type of person to go on dates. There were possibly some relationships in her future, sure, but her life so far hadn't seemed hugely open to the actual process of dates.

And then she'd maybe sort of asked Lana out and then Lana specifically said the word "date," so now it looked like Sabine was, in fact, the type of person who went on dates.

Lucky for her she was also definitely someone who didn't need to pretend to act cool before Lana showed up. Mostly because she'd pretty recently actually finished the border she'd been talking about and now was trying to put away supplies first. Totally cool.

"Thanks," Sabine said, turning from what she'd been doing to look over at her. "You look great."

It wasn't every day a hot girl in armor that you liked showed up at your door.

"Thank you." Lana smiled and tried not to blush. "So do you." Sabine was always so much more colourful!

And it wasn't often you got to show up at the door of a hot girl in armour that you liked.

"Have I seen you in that before?" Sabine wondered, smiling.

"Probably not?" Lana said. "I grew a little over the last few months, so I had to get something new, and they didn't have my old style anymore. How does it look?"

"It looks good," she said slowly, totally realizing that there was still this fun brain fog going around, but she also really did like it. "Really good."

Lana smiled, then shrugged. "I know it's not nearly as colourful as anything of yours."

"It doesn't have to be colorful," Sabine told her. "This is you, and that's what matters."

"I don't mind colour," Lana said. "But there's only so much I can get away with without drawing attention, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. Current fashions are fairly uniformly black, grey, and red."

"In your case, under the radar is probably for the best." Because all the Sith stuff sounded terrifying and Sabine liked her nice and not dead. "I'm sure there's stuff you could work in there if you wanted to. Even little details only you'd know about."

"That sounds interesting," Lana said. "What sorts of details?"

"That'd be up to you. But little things painted around edges, or designs hidden in plain sight in very slightly different colors," Sabine said, eyeing her armor- actually her armor this time. "It'd just be sneakily creative."

"I'd love some suggestions, or even help if you don't mind?" Lana said. "Not today, but some time."
