The Escape- Thursday afternoon
Sabine hadn't really allowed herself to get excited about actually getting off the planet for a bit until they were off the planet. Whether it was her version of home or not, even if she had complicated feelings about things there for a lot of reasons, it was good to actually be able to go back for a bit.
"So do you have any rules about the number of explosives on your shop?"
That was another thing making her feel better.
[For he whose ship it is!]

"All my favorite suppliers tend to have a distinct lack of window shoppers," Kanan replied, nodding his approval. "You do a lot of business with these guys?"

All the better for hefting explosives around without getting blown up.

She set them down in the clearing, a totally serviceable, if slightly rusty landing.

Yeah, that landing was good enough. She'd get better. Wings up, gear down, and then his baby was on the ground. That was all it needed to be.

"I bet. You don't do that anymore?" She felt she had to check, just for her own personal amusement as a onetime bounty hunter.

"Honestly, I'll take fighting them over pouring them drinks any day of the week," Kanan said easily. And then paused for a moment before speaking again. "Your friends here, they the sort of people we shouldn't say things like that around?"

He lifted his chin a little.
"I'll admit, I'm looking forward to seeing just how many supplies they can provide for you here on no notice at all. They might prove to be a good resource down the road."

She had skills.

"And if for whatever reason this falls through, I'll hook you up with one of my suppliers. I've been told there's a Devaronian on Lothal who deals dirty, but seems to have an in when it comes to things most people shouldn't be able to get their hands on and has a solid kind of business sense."
If you didn't mind picking up a few extra smuggling jobs here and there to win his favor, anyway.

...Maybe not with the really huge stuff.

"What, you mean people tend to get shirty when you buy large quantities of explosive materials?"
