Hallway to the teachers' offices- Monday before classes

Sabine knew where the real hatchet was, and she had a plan for it, but she was fully acting like she didn't. It'd be suspicious if she was reported looking for it and then suddenly gave up. So her plan now was to mix things up a little: set off some traps, find some decoys and switch their hiding spots, just to keep it interesting.

This was an office she hadn't been to yet! She'd just take a bit to work the lock...

Paris screamed, not expecting anyone in the hallway at all.

This did not aid her in not looking like an axe murderer.

"What're you up to?" Sabine asked slowly, like she didn't know and wasn't squeeing on the inside.

"Nothing," Paris lied badly, tucking the hatchet behind her back. "Just some...extra credit for Dr. Yang. You?"

"You wouldn't be saving her room for the last day of the heist?" Sabine asked.

Like it wasn't obvious what she herself was doing at school by the offices before classes.

...Sort of obvious.

"...of course not?" Paris tried. "Why, did you think there might be something in there?"

"Well, not anymore," she said.

Paris smiled--with all the blood, it was fairly terrifying--and held up the hatchet. "Oh, you mean this?"

Sabine frowned, and then shrugged, looking unimpressed. "Congratulations. Still a day left till class, though."

"I'm excellent at hiding things," Paris bragged. "You'll never find it."

"You might want to keep a close eye on it," Sabine told her. "I'm not the only one still in this."

"They won't find it either," Paris declared vehemently.

"You probably want to get started, then," Sabine told her. "Wouldn't want someone like Lana coming down here and finding you with that."

No one wanted to compete with a Sith, she was pretty sure. That girl dropped mentions of lightning more than most people.

"Plus I need about ten showers before class," Paris said. "...and Lana is a little intimidating."

"You are dripping a little," Sabine admitted.

And Paris looked freaky.

"It's better than the glitter and the shaming from the last time," Paris said. "Well, kind of."

"There was glitter and shaming?" she asked.

"Rogers," Paris said, pointing to his office.

"Ah," she said, glancing over. "I'll let Astrid know. I'm sure she and her Captain America puppet can do something with that."

"He made a new PSA just for the occasion," Paris said. "She shouldn't miss it."

"Ugh. Now I have to get shamed and glittered for nothing," Sabine said.

That was genuine. She'd been planning on avoiding that office.
